The Frizz Index

Click on the Frizz Warning Chart to open in a seperate window and enlarge. I did not make this up folks, I found it on a weather page, it's for real. WTF! It is important to know if you're going to have a bad hair day! Maybe it will help you decide whether to wear a hat or not! On a day when there's an amber alert for a missing child, an orange alert for terrorism, and a red alert for frizz, shouldn't you just call it in, and stay home?

This is too utterly strange. How did I end up living in a Barbie world and where is the exit?

How about a frump alert? Danger, danger, Will Robinson, under certain conditions you may appear old and frumpy.

What's that you say? You ARE old and frumpy? Well, never mind.

Ha! I am my own frizz index! I can tell you what the weather's going to be like by looking at my hair in the morning! Lightly raining at the moment and the volume has doubled!I'd shave my head if it wasn't for a couple of bumpy bits at the back that might look a bit sticky outey!

Does the chart work for pubic hair?

OH NO! This will shortly be showing alongside Australian weather too - won't it! Luckily the Weatherman never gets it right anyway...

theweyrd1, awww...

quickroute, me too!

heartinsanfrancisco, I know!!! Stop this ride, I want to get off!

baino, yeah, you have to have a perfect noggin to shave you head. It would cut down on the time it takes to get ready to go...

weineke, sorry. It's not me.

slip, hopefully not!

anon, It's some whacky stuff, that's for sure.

I keep my hair cut short enough that frizz isn't a problem. I have baby fine hair and I HATE hair product-so short is just better for me.

I live in Utah which usually has a very dry climate..so frizz is very rarely a problem with me. On the few days each year it is,I solve it just by looking in the mirror as little as possible that day...presto!..problem solved...lol

debra kay, short hair does work well, mine is quite short and that works for me!

yenbar, reflection avoidance can solve many issues! Good thinking!
Welcome by the way!

How very bizarre. And shallow. Although I have to say - with my baby-fien hair (I call it toddler hair) I welcome the humidity!

It is hard to understand the workings of some of the people that inhabit this same planet as us. Frizz Index? Man alive, what do you say to that??

Your hair is fine :)

Um, am I the only one who finds this to be the first useful creation by the weather people? Who cares if a massive tornado is heading my way intent on crushing my home and destroying everything I hold dear? Just tell me if I'm going to look like Diana Ross today!

RED MOJO said...

citizen, well you're certainly in the right place for it! :)

tsduff, I know...what a world!

jonah, You make an excellent point, and a very funny one, as usual. Thanks for stopping by. (I wish I looked like Diana Ross on a bad day instead of Gene Wilder).

Cool idea...cause I was afraid to go out today for fear that I'd turn into a walking Afro...

Dang. Here I was, all proud of you for creating such a wonderful graphic. Then I read that you didn't make it. Bummer.

I'm pretty sure I have a frizz issue but I just don't really care.

ve, yeah. They really saved us some embarrassment with that one!

Dorky Dad, Thanks for checking in, my graphics are getting better! Wrong blog though! I don't think I could've dreamt up anything THIS silly!
