Oh Holy Night for laundry

On my way to my job site this morning, I passed an apartment with wet laundry hanging out on a line on the back balcony. Boy was that Christmasy! I started belting out, "Oh holey socks, the thongs are intertwining, it is the line with clothes that won't dry. The shirts and pants and underwear so shiny, the bras and jeans all damp and badly worn. All of the tees, are iced and slowly melting, the line. the line, oh-oh the line, where clothes are hung."
I do hope you sung that! I'm just curious, do things actually dry in this winter weather?

Hey this is cool. I do wonder how the clothes will dry considering it is so cold out there.

I think they'll grow ice on them, but I love your song.

hehehe love the song....and yes I was singing it!! What can I say?? It's a catchy tune!! I agree...you should market it to Hallmark....:)

The pic is great but it doesn't seem like those things would ever dry!!

Ces, Thanks, No, I don't think they will.

kj, Thank you. I'm not sure I'm sappy enough for Hallmark, but who knows?

Heart, So great to see your avatar here. I've missed you!

boo7, Thanks for singing! I'm not really into marketing things, but it was fun to write.

I sang it in my head. It was quite enjoyable.

I'll have to hide your song from the boys or I'll NEVER hear the end of it! Clothes don't dry in a winetr's day on the line here, so there is NO way ... HAHA.

I know that clothes dry in the winter, but very slowly. They can break apart when it is too frosty :-)

I would think they would just freeze, but I don't know how cold it is where you are.

Perry Como would've been proud!

I've been told that clothes do dry on a clothesline in freezing weather, but I'm not convinced...

kj, I've been so busy, but I've got some ideas kicking around.

charlotta-love, I'm sure you two did justice to it! Next time, try it in a round.

wieneke, Imagine that, oops, I broke my favorite turtle neck!

rachel shell, It's very freaking cold. I do have a little temp. gadjet on my blog.

craig d, yes, Perry would love it, no doubt :)

I DID sing it... it is my favorite Christmas song on the earth, and what a cool shot! LOVE IT... did you take it with your new Christmas present? (of course you did) I'm dying for MY Christmas present... ever since you showed me what it will be LOL... that camera is great. Oh, about the clothes, you can beat the ice off so there is less water that has to dry in the sun but no, they don't dry very well :)

tsduff, I like that one too. I guess that why that's the song that popped into my head when i saw the wet laundry. You're gonna love that present!
