My life in 6 words

I have been tagged by Citizen of the World to describe my life in six words. This is a tough one for me, I've lived in more than six different states. But when I get tagged, I respond to the challenge.

Come to think of it, I love a challenge, and that is how I've lived my life. I have never let my gender limit my career choices. I can't say I have never been afraid to go for it, but I will say I have never let fear stop me from going for it.

I have made some bad decisions, but at least I don't have to regret not trying.

When I know what I want, I fight for it, it's being clear on what I want that seems to be the difficult part.

Anyway, sweetened and condensed, these six words sum it all up, probably:

Reaching, risking, growing, following my heart.

I'm not going to tag anyone, that would be mean, but I'd like to hear how kj and heartinsanfrancisco would sum themselves up. If you choose not to do accept this tag, that's okay, I will happily choose 6 words for you myself, just kidding. I know this one will be fun for you. Run along and get to work.

If those six words define you, you have learned to live a good life.

I especially like the following your heart. It would be wonderful if everyone did that.

Hey, nicely done! I've lived in 7 states, two countries, but I found what you found - the same you (that risk-taking, growing, heart-follwoing you)keeps going with you.

I would rather do it myself!

That about covers it for me.

heartinsanfrancisco, Thank you, I am always trying to figure it out, but the heart part I know for sure is right.

cit, Thanks, I know you've moved around a lot too, and of course, where ever you go, there you are.

My six words would obviously be:

What the hell was he thinking?

You are right, Mojo. I need to write a new post, but the well seems dry.

I am opinionated, compassionate, headstrong, energetic, free-thinking, generous.

I have lived in 12 parts of NY State plus FL, MN, MA, VT, NC, TN, and 3 cities in CA, and put down roots in most of them.

I'm back. Now on the room mate thing-I haven't had one in a very long time, but when I did we talked right up front about rules for sex in the house-which usually was "stay in your own room unless you are sure nobody is home, if you ARE boning in the living room and I come home, don't yell at ME, and the big one, NEVER use my bed..." At that time, any orientation questions were discussed, not that I ever cared.

ve, I can see that.

heartinsanfrancisco, yes, I believe you are all those things and more! You've lived in as many different places as I have! No wonder you're (read we're) so well-rounded!

debra kay, yes, I'll come visit your post next.
I'm not getting a room-mate silly, my dad's receptionist is. I don't care where they have sex!

after reading your post and several others like it i decided to describe my life in 6 words. being completely unable to make a decision i ended up coming up with 10 phrases that could describe my life. my favorite was probably...

not too bad, could be worse.

that pretty much sums it up!

Have been away for a bit - still am LOL~ but this is cool. How can 6 words sum up a person? No way Jose.

Some words that might add clarification about me could be:

Mother,Daughter,Lover,Birder,Traveler,Optimist

Thanks for this food-for-thought post! It is an always-changing type of subject, don't you think?

How's the snow? Here in Chicago I've been able to observe how people actually live in the snow - although I understand it is much MORE where you live...

tsduff, yes those would describe you, but the meme is about your life, so it's a little different. Maybe I should've tagged you, but I didn't know how long you'd be away. You can still do it if you want to.
